Job summary

Cedars-Sinai Marina Hospital is seeking a Nurse Assistant to support non-acute patient care during night shifts. You will assist with activities of daily living under the supervision of a registered nurse and ensure a safe, clean environment.

Required are a High School diploma or GED, current BLS certification, and 6 months to 1 year of related experience. CNA preferred and English reading/writing skills are essential to communicate with patients and staff.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Current BLS certification is required; CNA preferred.
• 6 months to 1 year of related experience preferred.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
• Basic computer knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provides basic nursing care to non-acutely ill patients under RN supervision.
• Assists in maintaining a safe and clean environment.
• Notifies licensed personnel when patient reports pain or changes in status.
• Assists with feeding and maintaining fluid balance as appropriate.
• Communicates with RN, Charge Nurse, and team on patient status and care plan.
• Demonstrates professionalism and ability to work under stress.
