Job summary

MarinHealth is seeking a Nursing Assistant to support patient hygiene, daily living activities, and vital sign measurements in a 36-hour weekly shift with nights. The role involves assisting with transfers, tray passing, and basic clerical tasks as needed.

Applicants should have a CNA certification, BLS, and be able to complete IAMTAC within 30 days. Prior acute-care or SNF experience is preferred; RN program enrollment may substitute for some experience requirements.

Qualifications

• CNA certification required at hire; BLS required at hire; IAMTAC required within 30 days of hire.
• One year (1040 hours) CNA experience preferred in acute-care or skilled nursing.
• Enrollment in RN program with first year of clinical instruction may substitute for required experience.

Responsibilities

• Obtain, record, and report vital signs and other patient data.
• Provide hygiene, ADL assistance, and comfort measures.
• Assist with positioning, ambulation, and transfers; transport patients as needed.
• May perform bedside EKGs and clerical support tasks.
