Qualifications

• 1 or more years of nursing assistant experience (strongly preferred).
• Certified Nursing Assistant (preferred).
• Current BLS certification, required.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
• Basic computer knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Assists patients with activities of daily living such as feeding, toileting and hygiene.
• Provides basic nursing care to non-acutely and acutely ill patients.
• Assists in maintenance of a safe and clean environment.
• Works under the directions and supervision of the registered nurse in charge.
• Answers phones and call lights.
• Ensures unit is stocked with supplies.
• Assists patient transporter as needed.
