Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required with state-approved Nursing Assistant training completion or equivalent.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assists with basic patient care including nutrition, elimination, comfort, mobility and safety.
• Transports and transfers patients using appropriate equipment and safety precautions.
• Assists nursing staff with lifting and ambulating patients per guidelines.
• Maintains environment and equipment; delivers equipment to Central Service and Maintenance.
• Communicates and documents information accurately with the health care team.
