Job summary

Martha Franks Retirement Community & Oakdale Seniors Alliance in Laurens, SC seeks a reliable Nursing Assistant / Medication Technician for a part-time night shift. You will administer medications and provide hands-on overnight care to Assisted Living residents.

The role requires SC Med Tech or CNA with Med Tech endorsement, high school diploma, and strong reliability to work 10:00 PM–6:00 AM. Join a supportive team valuing resident dignity and safety.

Qualifications

• Certification: Med Tech / Medication Aide (SC) or CNA/Nurse Aide with Med Tech endorsement.
• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience: Prior Med Tech or Caregiver in AL or Memory Care preferred.
• Skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, CPR/First Aid cert (or willingness to obtain).
• Reliability: Excellent attendance, able to work overnight shifts independently.

Responsibilities

• Medication administration and documentation per physician orders and MAR.
• Direct resident care including mobility and nightly comfort routines.
• Overnight observation, safety checks, and reporting changes to supervisor.
• Response to call bells and unscheduled overnight needs.
• Documentation and shift hand-offs to ensure continuity of care.
