Job summary

Saint Clare's Health, part of Prime Healthcare, is seeking a Nurse Assistant for the Med Surg/Telemetry Department in Dover, NJ. This full-time role supports daily living activities, basic nursing care, and a safe environment under RN supervision.

Qualified candidates will have a CNA certificate, BLS, and knowledge of medical terminology, with at least six months in acute care settings preferred. Nights shift offered with competitive total rewards.

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate upon hire, preferred.
• Current BLS within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
• Knowledge of Medical Terminology.
• Minimum six months’ previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician’s office preferred.

Responsibilities

• The Nurse Assistant in the Med Surg/Telemetry Department is an unlicensed non-certified assistive person who assists with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to non-critical patients and assists in maintenance of a safe environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit.
