NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital in Bronxville, NY is seeking a Nursing Assistant for the 6 North Med/Surg unit on a full-time night shift (11:00 PM–7:15 AM) with weekend rotation. Provide bedside care, monitor vitals, assist with meals, transport, and partner with Registered Nurses to ensure safety and comfort.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED, one year acute care preferred, and CPR (BLS) certification. On-site role with competitive benefits and growth opportunities within NYP.

Qualifications

• One year of acute care experience preferred or certification from an approved Nurse Aide program.
• Current CPR Training from the American Heart Association (BLS).
• Previous Nurse’s aide experience in a hospital setting or enrolled in a BSN program for nursing, at the junior year level or had completed at least one clinical practicum.

Responsabilités

• Assist bedside care and monitor blood pressure, temperature, and other vitals.
• Assist with meals, mobility, and safe patient transport.
• Collaborate with Nurses and Patient Care Partners to maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable patient environment.
• Document and report patient conditions and changes as directed by the supervising RN.
