Job summary

Medical Center Enterprise is seeking a Nursery Registered Nurse (RN) for a part-time night shift (7pm-7am) in the Nursery. The RN will provide patient-centered care using the nursing process, coordinate care with the care team, and perform assessments, medications, and procedures within competency.

Qualifications

• RN licensure and active state nursing license.
• Strong knowledge of nursing processes and patient care.
• Ability to document accurately and communicate findings.
• Familiarity with infection control and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers patient-centered care in accordance with the nursing process.
• Conducts thorough patient assessments and documents findings accurately, reporting changes as needed.
• Administers prescribed medications, monitors for side effects, and documents administration.
• Assists physicians during procedures within documented competency and skill level.
• Collaborates with the healthcare team to develop, implement, and evaluate care plans.
• Responds to emergencies and participates in CPR and code team activities.
• Educates patients and families on conditions, treatment plans, and discharge care.
• Maintains infection control and promotes patient safety throughout care.
• Documents patient care promptly in the medical record.
