Job summary

Virtua Health is seeking a part-time Nursing Supervisor to oversee the Nursing Department during night hours at Mount Holly. You will supervise staff, ensure safe patient care, and respond to incidents while coordinating with leadership.

Qualified candidates will have a BSN or higher, NJ RN license and BLS, plus 2 years of clinical and 2 years of management experience. Benefits are available for part-time staff and the role supports patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• 2 years clinical experience; 2 years management experience preferred.
• BSN or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• NJ RN License; BLS.

Responsibilities

• Assumes administrative responsibility during non-business hours for entire hospital and communicates information in a timely manner.
• Assumes general supervision of nursing department during non-business hours.
• Ensures adequate staffing in nursing department.
• Responds to customer complaints.
• Communicates expectations re: care standards.
• Manages crisis and emergency situations.
