Job summary

MUSC Health is seeking a Clinical Staff Leader (CSL) to provide nurse leadership and operational oversight during night shifts. The CSL collaborates with nursing leadership to ensure evidence-based patient care and department goals, while promoting Shared Governance and maintaining staffing coverage for holidays and weekends as scheduled.

Qualified candidates hold a nursing degree (BSN preferred) with RN experience, and CSL competency training within the required period.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Nursing degree or Associates of Nursing degree and currently enrolled in an accredited BSN program with one year of work experience as a Registered Nurse required.
• Certification in specialty area strongly preferred.
• Successful CSL competency-based training within a designated time period required.

Responsibilities

• Provides operational oversight and staff supervision for each shift.
• Promotes Shared Governance and supports leadership presence; covers holidays and weekend shifts as scheduled.
