Job summary

Chelsea Hospital, part of Trinity Health Michigan, is seeking a Registered Nurse Coordinator for the 40-bed Inpatient Rehabilitation unit. The RN Coordinator provides administrative support to nursing leadership, leads the daily multidisciplinary team, and ensures safe, therapeutic patient care during night shifts.

The role aims to strengthen shift communication, support recruitment and retention, and bolster quality and regulatory initiatives within our SCI Model System program at Chelsea

Qualifications

• Requires current Michigan Nursing License.
• Graduation from accredited nursing program.
• 2 years minimum nursing experience with leadership skills.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to department nurse leadership.
• Function as the daily shift leader of the multidisciplinary team.
• Identify and assist in resolution of safety, sanitation and environmental maintenance issues.
• Promote effective communication with patients, visitors and staff.
• Support recruitment/retention efforts and quality/regulatory initiatives.
