Job summary

Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA) seeks a dedicated Nursing Assistant to support the nursing team in Florence, AL. This role covers personal care, hygiene, mobility, and safe patient handling during a 36-hour weekly night shift (7pm–7am) with alternating weekend work.

Completion of an accredited nursing assistant program or at least one year of patient care experience is required. As a regular full-time employee, you will contribute to patient comfort and safety, with responsibilities

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nurse assisting program or one year of patient care experience required.
• Schedule: 36 hours per week; 7pm-7am; every other weekend.

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing team with patient care activities and related services.
• Assist patients with personal hygiene, dressing, and walking.
• Record temperature or vital signs under supervision when directed by a nurse.
