Job summary

Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA) seeks a Patient Care Technician to support decentralized, patient-centered care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. The role involves performing multi-skilled patient care activities to assist in achieving desired outcomes.

Hours are 3 twelve-hour night shifts per week, including weekends/holidays, with an hourly pay rate. Requires High School Diploma or equivalent and BLS certification within two weeks of hire.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required for PCT I; multiple paths to PCT II include higher education or healthcare experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 2 weeks of hire and maintained thereafter.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN under supervision to support decentralized, patient-centered care.
• Perform multi-skilled activities to support desired patient outcomes.
• Provide bedside care and help with routine tasks as needed.
• Assist with safety and mobility of patients during shifts.
