Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have a current/valid APN license from the state licensing board.
• BLS Certification is required.
• ACLS Certification is required.
• Must have at least one year of previous experience as an NP in an acute care setting or equivalent RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under physician supervision.
• Manage patients in collaboration with surgeons and intensivists.
• Triage and address consults for care.
• Participate in inpatient rounding and discharge services.
• Perform and assist with bedside procedures.
• Monitor chronic diseases and promote positive lifestyle habits.
