Job summary

77 consultants is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician’s Assistant for a contract role in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The position focuses on critical care, collaborating with physicians and nursing staff to deliver high-quality treatment for patients in critical condition.

The role requires current Tennessee licensure, board certification, ACLS, and experience in critical care settings. Schedule is 7pm–7am with nightly volume of 12 patients; travel and expenses are paid.

Qualifications

• Requires Associate degree or higher in nursing or physician assistant studies.
• Board certification in respective clinical field is required.
• Experience in critical care settings preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills required.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities required.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of electronic health record systems.
• ACLS certification is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients in critical care settings
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
• Perform diagnostic procedures and interpret diagnostic tests
• Administer treatments and medications as prescribed
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans and health management
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary
• Document patient conditions and treatment responses accurately
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds to discuss patient care
