Ochsner Health System is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for Nursery/NICU on the night shift in a full-time role. The RN delivers care using the Nursing Process within regulatory standards and collaborates with the care team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

The position requires an RN license in the practice state, BLS certification, and a nursing degree. Preferred candidates may hold an associate or bachelor’s degree in nursing and have strong communication and organizational

Formación

• Must be a licensed Registered Nurse in the state of practice.
• RN Diploma is required; higher degree preferred.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Certification in a clinical specialty area preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Use the Nursing Process to deliver patient care.
• Assess learning needs and implement teaching for patients and families.
• Communicate and manage nursing team resources on the interdisciplinary team.
• Utilize data to evaluate and promote changes for better outcomes.
• Support customer satisfaction and employee morale; uphold professional standards.
• Adapt interactions to diverse patient populations and maintain privacy.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
