Job summary

Boone Hospital Center in Missouri is seeking Graduate Nurses for full-time night shifts (7:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m.), with two weekends per six-week cycle and self-scheduling options. A sign-on bonus up to $15,000, tuition forgiveness/assistance ($4,500/year), relocation support, and day-one benefits (including parking) are offered.

This role is part of the Boone Health system. New graduates are welcome; licensure within 90 days of graduation is required, and Missouri work authorization is necessary.

Qualifications

• Nursing diploma or associate degree required or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred for applicants.
• Licensure as a nurse within 90 days of graduation.
• Legal authorization to work in Missouri.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Educate patients and families on illness management, home care needs, and medications.
• Apply critical thinking to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans with the healthcare team.
• Promote patient- and family-centered care in a healing environment.
• Monitor and adjust care plans based on patient response.
• Participate in safety, quality, and regulatory activities.
• Engage in professional development and lifelong learning.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
