Qualifications

• Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies.
• Active New Jersey PA license and DEA license.
• ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Willingness to work night shifts and locally.
• Experience in neurosurgery or inpatient hospital settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate inpatient consults and rounds with surgeons.
• Independently assess patients and order labs/imaging/consults.
• Perform H&Ps and write perioperative orders for surgeons.
• Prescribe medications per NJ laws, including controlled substances with DEA.
• Assist in surgical cases as needed.
