Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Neuro/Pulmonary Stroke Unit on a night shift. You will use the nursing process to provide patient care and maintain accountability for care delivery, while coordinating with other departments and safeguarding patient rights and confidentiality.

The role requires graduation from a nursing program and an active RN license in the hiring state. BLS certification is required or completed within 30 days of hire, with opportunities across Mercy Hospital

Qualifications

• Graduate of nursing school with an RN license (ADN, Diploma or BSN).
• Current RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• Basic Life Support certification through AHA or within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care and maintain accountability for care provision.
• Evaluates overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments and maintains patient rights and confidentiality.
