Job summary

Dynamic Integrated Services (DIS) is seeking a Network Engineer to join a 24/7/365 network-ops team in Martinsburg, WV. You will troubleshoot complex enterprise networks, including Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, MPLS, VPNs, and Palo Alto devices, to ensure high availability.

Able to work overnight hours and document troubleshooting steps thoroughly; there is 30–60 days of training followed by a Wed–Sat night schedule from 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/EE/IT or related technical discipline.
• Five years of hands-on network engineering experience.
• Hands-on IPv4 subnetting and IP addressing troubleshooting.
• Experience collecting and interpreting packet captures.
• Cisco CLI configuration and troubleshooting experience.
• Experience with Palo Alto firewall policies and ACLs.
• Familiarity with OSPF, BGP, MPLS, IPsec and VPN tech.
• Ability to document troubleshooting findings clearly.
• Ability to work overnight shifts and escalate as needed.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot complex enterprise network connectivity across Cisco devices, MPLS, VPNs, and Palo Alto envs.
• Analyze subnet configurations for overlaps and routing issues.
• Capture/analyze traffic with packet-capture tools to support triage.
• Interpret packet data to locate root causes and guide remediation.
• Configure and troubleshoot ACLs, VPNs, and site-to-site connections.
• Monitor network performance using SolarWinds and similar tools.
• Maintain documentation of incidents and configurations.
