Job summary

The Division of Neonatology at Montefiore Medical Center, Weiler NICU, Bronx, NY, seeks an experienced neonatal nurse practitioner to deliver specialized care to high-risk infants. You will work with a multidisciplinary team, attend high-risk deliveries, and perform advanced clinical procedures in a Level IV NICU.

Responsibilities include coordinating care, participating in family-centered decision making, and contributing to clinical guidelines and quality improvement efforts.

Qualifications

• New York State NP license required.
• NNP certification preferred or 3+ years NICU experience.
• DEA registration required.
• BLS and NRP certification required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with neonatology team to plan and implement care for high-risk neonates.
• Provide bedside NP care, including orders, assessments, and procedures as per protocol.
• Attend high-risk deliveries and perform necessary procedures (e.g., intubation, lines, LPs).
• Coordinate with family to educate and involve in decision-making.
• Ensure continuity of care across transitions to home or other facilities.
