Job summary

Seneca Resources is seeking a Night Shift Multicraft Maintenance Technician in Birmingham, AL to troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain complex equipment including robotics, PLCs, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

You will support preventative maintenance, root-cause analysis, and uptime improvements, while working with a safety-first team and competitive hourly pay. A $5,000 sign-on/stay bonus is offered to the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in heavy manufacturing maintenance.
• Electrical troubleshooting including reading schematics and working with controls and PLCs.
• Mechanical maintenance proficiency, including hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Interpret electrical blueprints and technical drawings; familiarity with testing/diagnostic equipment such as multimeters.
• Knowledge of rigging and basic AutoCAD skills.
• Ability to work extended hours and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Demonstrated team orientation, attendance, and willingness for overtime.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain complex equipment including robotics, PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.
• Support preventative maintenance, equipment upgrades, root-cause analysis, and maximize production uptime.
• Collaborate with team to ensure safety and continuous improvement.
