Job summary

Mount Carmel Health System in Columbus, OH is seeking a Multi-Skilled Technician to support nursing staff and provide patient-centered care on the night shift. Under the direction of a Registered Nurse, you will assist with activities of daily living, monitor vitals, and document accurately to help deliver a safe, compassionate patient experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of EKG and Phlebotomy courses and initial clinical competency upon hire/transfer.
• Maintenance of BLS healthcare provider training.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, eating).
• Keep assigned patient rooms stocked, cleaned, and orderly.
• Obtain vital signs (height, weight, glucose, I&O).
• Perform EKG and phlebotomy as delegated by Staff RN.
• Document patient data accurately and completely.
• All other duties as assigned.
