Job summary

A leading building products company in Fort Smith, AR, is seeking a Maintenance Multi-Craft Technician to maintain and repair facility equipment. The role requires formal electrical and/or mechanical maintenance experience and the ability to troubleshoot large industrial equipment. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance of machines, programming PLCs, and effective communication with plant personnel. Qualifications

• Formal industrial electrical and/or mechanical maintenance experience.
• Ability to read and work from technical manuals, engineering drawings.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensures operation of machinery and electrical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements.
• Diagnose basic electrical problems and determines how to correct them.
• Actively engages in Total Productive Maintenance.

Skills

Maintenance knowledge with mechanical and electrical equipment

Proficient in Allen Bradley and/or Siemens PLC

Effective communication skills

Troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Associates Degree or Technical Certificate in Industrial Electronics or Maintenance
