Job summary

Vanderbilt University Medical Center is seeking a Care Partner for the Float Pool's Monitor Transport Team in Nashville. The role primarily transports monitored patients to imaging services by bed or wheelchair, while providing basic ADL support as needed.

A basic arrhythmia test with 85% accuracy is required during orientation. The position offers a Full-Time Night Shift (3 twelve-hour shifts per week) with rotating schedules.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent) is required.
• Current enrollment in a nursing RN program or completion of a Nursing Assistant/Aide program within the past year is preferred.
• Minimum of one year of recent experience as a care partner, nursing assistant, or patient care technician.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the delivery of patient care under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Maintain unit environmental standards and support day-to-day patient care operations.
• Facilitate efficient patient flow and act as liaison for patient and family needs.
• Maintain supplies and equipment and support unit operations.
