Job summary

Polytainers Inc. in Lee's Summit, MO is seeking a Night Shift Packer in the Molding department. You will pack molded production parts into boxes, inspect parts for quality, and ensure proper labeling and box closure.

The role supports line clearances and covers breaks as needed. The night schedule runs 7 pm to 7 am on a 2-2-3 rotating cycle. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, be able to lift up to 50 pounds, and communicate clearly in English.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for long periods.
• Fluent in English with good verbal and written communication.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Pack molded production parts into boxes according to specifications.
• Obtain packing supplies from designated spots and assemble boxes.
• Label boxes and move packed boxes through the tape machine.
• Visually inspect parts for quality defects before packing.
• Relieve Packers during breaks and cover for absenteeism as needed.
• Assist with line clearance during product change and disposition of non-conformance products.
