Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support 12-hour night shifts in Lawrence, KS. The role focuses on independent problem solving, preventative maintenance, and safe operation of molding machines. Must be capable of reading blueprints and working with minimal supervision.

Starting rate is $29.75/hour with a $1.00 shift differential during night shifts. Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 pounds and participate in an apprenticeship program. Own tools required.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties with minimum supervision.
• Perform scheduled and preventative maintenance.
• Assist employees in all departments and facilities in solving maintenance problems.
• Keep shop area and molding machines neat and orderly.
• Willingness to get training to progress in maintenance field.
• Obtain parts in times of emergency.
• Take control of machine when a situation arises that has the potential for personal injury or rapid deterioration of the machine.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
