Job summary

NorthKey Community Care seeks Mobile Crisis Responders to provide in-person crisis response within the Northern Kentucky region. The role is on-site at Covington, KY, with travel to nearby communities. The team-based position covers 2nd and 3rd shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Salary range is $17.40–$18.40 per hour, with potential for up to 12% annual contingency bonus. Generous PTO, health insurance, 401(k) with employer match, PSLF eligibility, and in-service training are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a behavioral health field preferred or a Peer Support Certification preferred.
• High School Diploma and at least one year of experience with individuals with mental health diagnoses may substitute for a degree or certification.
• Relevant knowledge, training, and experience in the behavioral health field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Valid driver's license and ability to drive a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Respond in person as part of a team to crisis situations in homes, schools, hospitals, and other locations.
• De-escalate crises and develop safety plans with a multidisciplinary team.
• Assist individuals in care planning, including hospitalization or outpatient resources.
• Address functional challenges and identify gaps in care to prevent deterioration.
• Provide client education to promote improved functioning and skills.
