Job summary

Shearer's Foods in the United States is seeking an Operations Supervisor Mixing Nights. You will lead the mixing department, directing employees to achieve safety, quality, and productivity goals in a lean, continuous improvement setting.

You will enforce sanitation and regulatory standards, develop staff through coaching and training, and use data to optimize line performance. The role requires 2–5 years in production supervision and a four-year degree or equivalent experience.

Qualifications

• 4 year degree in a related business or technical field such as food science, operations management, or engineering OR equivalent experience
• 2-5 years of experience in a production management or supervision role, preferably in the food processing industry
• Strong leadership capabilities to help take our team to the next level

Responsibilities

• Directs employees and plant floor activities to achieve a consistent and high-quality product
• Ensures safe workplace by enforcing safety and sanitation rules and principles
• Maintains compliance with Federal, State and Company regulatory requirements
• Maintains positive employee relations and participates in evaluation and training of hourly personnel
• Tracks performance and attendance to meet metrics and resolves issues promptly
• Uses metrics to evaluate and improve processes and maintain documentation
• Collaborates with other supervisors to coordinate operations
• Plans and establishes work schedules
