Job summary

Shearer's Foods is seeking an Operations Shift Coordinator to support the daily production plan. You will work under the Supervisor to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency across the line, with hands-on responsibilities and involvement in line setup, changeovers, and problem resolution.

This role requires leadership, strong communication, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while upholding GMP standards and safety rules. Weekend and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Three years of leadership experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong organizational and prioritization abilities.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with staff and partners.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced production environment.
• Commitment to safety standards and GMP compliance.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Supervisor in daily department operations and line setup as needed.
• Maintain safe work practices and support safety improvements.
• Ensure GMP compliance and clean work areas.
• Train and support team members to perform duties.
• Coordinate daily activities to meet production goals.
• Troubleshoot line equipment and escalate issues to leadership.
• Perform line cleanup, changeovers, and root cause analysis of issues.
• Lift up to 50 pounds as required.
