Job summary

Darigold in Spokane, WA is seeking a Milk Receiving Operator for our local plant. You will manage milk sampling and testing, control truck loading/unloading, and serve as the first line of defense for quality milk.

Thorough documentation of production and CIP activities is required. Responsibilities include receiving shipments, performing QA tests on raw milk, moving and cleaning equipment, and adhering to safety and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

• Valid Washington Driver's License.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work with others to achieve team goals.
• Available for multiple shifts in a 24/7 environment.
• Must maintain high attendance and reliability.
• Capable of heavy lifting (up to 70 pounds) and standing for extended periods.
• Ability to work with and properly test chemicals.
• Ability to climb ladders as needed.
• Excellent paperwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive and load out bulk milk shipments.
• Perform quality assurance tests on raw milk per guidelines.
• Move trucks into and out of Receiving Bay area.
• Clean trucks and maintain a clean work area.
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
