Job summary

Henderson Products, Inc. in Manchester, IA is seeking a Welder for the night shift to produce high-quality weldments on truck-mounted equipment. You will set up and operate MIG welding machines, read blueprints, and ensure welds meet specifications.

The role requires basic shop math and adherence to safety and 5S standards. Night shift offers a 15% shift differential, with paid lunch and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months experience and/or associates degree or certification.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols.
• Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic shop math.
• Adheres to health and safety rules and maintains good housekeeping (5S).

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, adjust, and regulate welding machines.
• Weld parts using the GMAW (MIG) process.
• Monitor weld variables to ensure quality and size standards.
• Produce quality welds meeting daily production demands.
• Read blueprints and work instructions to manufacture quality products.
• Collaborate with team to achieve production goals.
• Maintain 5S housekeeping and safety standards.
• Work overtime as needed to meet production demands.
