Job summary

Kids for the Future in Marietta, GA is seeking a skilled Metal Refinisher to buff, sand, strip, mask, paint and finish metal surfaces to a high-quality state.

You will follow work orders, apply finishing techniques, handle solvents and power tools, and follow all safety protocols, including OSHA standards. Nights shifts (4/5pm–2/3am) with occasional days or weekends, plus occasional travel with per diem and hotel accommodations are required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable with heights and confined spaces.
• Able to lift up to 60 lbs unassisted.
• Spraying and oxidizing experience preferred.
• High level of attention to detail and cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Follow work orders and Lead Foreman directions to meet quality standards and deadlines.
• Work with solvents, chemicals, pneumatic and power tools.
• Follow OSHA safety protocols, including use of company vehicles.
• Complete required safety and training modules.
• Work nights (4/5pm–2/3am), with occasional days or weekends.
• Occasional travel in company van with per diem and hotel accommodations.
