Job summary

Mattel's American Girl New York City retail store is seeking a dynamic individual for a seasonal Merchandise Handler role in our Back of House support. This includes unloading/loading trailers, maintaining stock levels on the sales floor, and ensuring adequate supplies are on-hand.

You will assist with stock processing, merchandising, and safe, efficient store operations while supporting partners and customers. Open/close shifts, weekends, and holidays required.

Qualifications

• 6 months to 1 year of experience in retail or service industry, including material handling, shipping, receiving, or stock handling.

Responsibilities

• Process incoming stock shipments and maintain stockroom standards for placement, cleanliness and safety.
• Pack up and load trailer with returning merchandise (returns, rework, doll hospital).
• Maintain stock on the retail sales floor and monitor levels for replenishment with visual standards.
• Assist in floor moves, equipment maintenance, and safety of customers and staff; perform special projects as needed.
• Demonstrate flexibility prioritizing tasks to meet business needs.
