Job summary

Mass General Brigham's North Shore Medical Center is seeking a dedicated professional to provide direct care to patients with psychiatric disorders, ensuring safety and a therapeutic milieu. The role requires compassionate care, accurate shift handoffs, and adherence to unit guidelines.

The position is 36 hours per week, night shift 7pm-7am, onsite at 1 Dove Avenue, with weekend and holiday rotation. Basic Life Support preferred, and CPI training must be completed within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• BLS certification preferred.
• 0-1 year related experience preferred.
• CPI training due within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist with care and treatment of psychiatric, drug and alcohol patients.
• Advocate for patients who may be vulnerable or need additional support.
• Provide and file shift reports and remain on unit during incoming shift.
• Maintain professional boundaries with patients at all times.
• Complete and file documentation in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with care team to ensure safety and therapeutic milieu.
