Job summary

Dukes Memorial Hospital in Peru, IN is seeking a Part-Time Registered Nurse (RN) for Medsurg on night shifts to deliver patient-centered care. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, administer medications, assist physicians, and participate in life-saving interventions while maintaining safety and infection-control standards.

Qualifications include 0-2 years of clinical nursing experience and active RN licensure; BCLS is required, with ACLS/PALS/NRP preferred.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of clinical nursing experience or student rotations in an acute care setting.
• RN license in Indiana or a compact state.
• BCLS certification required.
• ACLS, PALS, NRP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care using the nursing process and organizational policies.
• Assess patients, document findings, and report changes to care team.
• Administer medications and monitor for side effects.
• Assist physicians during procedures within competency and scope.
