Emerus, a leader in small-format hospitals, seeks a Medical Technologist (MLT/MLS) to float across Newberry, Shrewsbury, and Carlisle locations during night shifts. The role includes specimen processing, test execution, quality control, and reporting under lab protocols.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Biological/Physical Sciences or Medical Laboratory Science is required.
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross is required.
• Pennsylvania market requires minimum of 6 years core lab experience; Act 33 and Act 73 clearances completed within 5 years, or obtained before start date.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks and complex tests in all lab areas per protocols to ensure compliance with laws and accreditations.
• Collect and process specimens; perform QC, preventive maintenance, and troubleshoot instruments.
• Validate and report results; assist with QA issues and safety practices; maintain patient privacy and asepsis.
