Job summary

Mercy Health in Grand Rapids, Michigan is seeking a Medical Technologist to join the hospital's laboratory team for the night shift. You will demonstrate knowledge of lab procedures, ensure accurate results, and work as part of a patient-centered care team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with clinical internship in Medical Laboratory Science or equivalent.
• ASCP or NCA certification - or board eligible and must become certified within one year.
• One year hospital lab experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates working knowledge of laboratory procedures and processes.
• Reports accurate patient laboratory results with minimum errors.
• Reviews results based on knowledge of age related normals.
• Uses quality control results in determining validity of patient results.
