Job summary

The role handles blood, tissue, urine and other specimens, requires an ASCP MLT certification or equivalent, and a 32-hour weekly evening shift. You will maintain compliance with safety, infection control, and continuing education.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree: Applied Sciences (Required).
• ASCP MLT certification required or equivalent.
• Board of Registry examination by ASCP or equivalent certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate analysis of body fluids and tissues with quality control.
• Operate automation and manual testing methods; troubleshoot instruments.
• Ensure validity and timely reporting of patient test results.
• Maintain safety and infection control practices; document procedures.
• Participate in continuing education and competency assessments.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned in Core Lab.
