Job summary

Jobot is seeking a full-time IMC Medical Surgical Registered Nurse in Texas to provide comprehensive care for patients with complex medical and surgical needs. The role runs 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, 3 nights per week, with 12-hour shifts.

You will assess, plan, and evaluate nursing care, administer medications, coordinate with the clinical team, and educate patients and families. TX RN license and ACLS/BLS requirements apply, with competitive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Active Texas RN license or multistate compact RN license.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• Current BLS certification required at hire.
• ACLS certification required within 30 days (experienced) or 90 days (new grads).

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for assigned patients.
• Provide routine and complex nursing care in IMC and medical-surgical settings.
• Administer medications and treatments per orders and protocols.
• Monitor condition changes, treatment effectiveness, and side effects.
• Document patient histories, meds, treatments, and care provided.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and resources.
• Coordinate care with physicians, nurses, and clinical team.
• Make appropriate assignments and delegate to other care providers.
• Complete orientation, competency validation, and annual requirements.
