Job summary

MedSpeed in Austin, TX is seeking a Logistics Service Representative/Medical Driver for an overnight schedule (10:00 pm–6:00 am). You will drive a company vehicle to transport lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, and related materials, using a handheld scanner to track shipments.

We offer training, opportunities for advancement, health benefits, a 401(k), and other perks. Must be 19+, with a valid license for 3 years, and able to lift 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Must be 19+ years old with an active driver’s license for 3 years.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Able to walk long distances and stand for long periods.
• Must pass drug and alcohol screen.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive and transport lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, and related materials.
• Operate a hand-held scanner to track items through the transport cycle.
• Load and unload vehicles and maintain a clean, organized vehicle.
• Follow policies, procedures and schedules with professional client interaction.
• Demonstrate safe and courteous driving and adapt to varying routes.
