Qualifications

• Requires bachelor's degree in a related science (Certification not required).
• Associate degree in an approved MLT program or MIL cert (50 weeks or more).
• Certification within 12 months if associate degree (NCA, AMT, ASCP, HEW, CLA).
• Knowledge of lab techniques and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist with laboratory testing on patient specimens.
• Provide information for diagnosis and treatment.
• Maintain performance records and generate acceptable test results.
• Follow standard operating procedures and modify procedures as needed.
• Take on responsibilities as outlined by management or lab director.
