Job summary

Chenega Government Mission Solutions, LLC is seeking a Laboratory Technician III to support Lawton Indian Hospital. The role involves performing clinical lab tests across multiple sections, instrument maintenance, quality control, and blood collection for all age groups.

Qualifications

ASCP or AMT certification is required.
2–3 years of clinical laboratory experience including blood bank.
Associate degree in laboratory science or related field.
Knowledge of RPMS or VistA is preferred.

Responsibilities

Performs standardized and non-standardized clinical laboratory tests across hematology, chemistry, urinalysis, serology, Blood Bank, Microbiology and reference lab.
Performs instrument startup/shutdown and maintenance; documents logs and worksheets.
Performs quality control and investigates unacceptable results; corrects variances.
Troubleshoots unusual patient results and reports critical results as required.
Draws blood from all age groups and provides clerical support with basic computer tasks.
Participates in proficiency testing and accreditation activities; adheres to HIPAA and trainings.
