Job summary

Chenega Government Mission Solutions, LLC, a Chenega Professional Services’ company, is seeking a Laboratory Technician III for Lawton Indian Hospital to provide comprehensive laboratory services in a 24/7 operation.

The role requires ASCP/AMT certification, 2–3 years of clinical lab experience including blood bank, and an associate degree in laboratory science or related field. Overnight shifts with 12- and 8-hour rotations, start date November 2026.

Qualifications

ASCP or AMT certification required.
Minimum 2–3 years clinical laboratory experience, including blood bank.
Associate degree in laboratory science or related field.
Knowledge of IHS systems such as RPMS or VistA preferred.

Responsibilities

Performs standardized and non-standardized clinical laboratory tests in hematology, chemistry, urinalysis, serology, Blood Bank, Microbiology, and the reference laboratory.
Performs instrument startup/shutdown, maintenance, troubleshooting, and documents records per protocol.
Performs quality control and assesses QC results; initiates investigations and corrects variances.
Troubleshoots unusual patient results and reports critical results.
Assist in maintenance of RPMS lab package and reference lab interface.
Draw blood on all age groups.
Provide clerical support and operate office equipment.
Participate in proficiency testing and accreditation.
Support facility and IHS vision/mission objectives.
Participate in HIPAA and mandatory trainings.
Maintain laboratory as a safe environment.
Perform special assignments as requested.
Other duties as assigned.
