Qualifications

• Within 90 days of hire: Washington Medical Assistant Phlebotomist Certification.
• Instructs new employees and students; performs troubleshooting and instrument maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform, evaluate and report results on specimens received for analysis.
• Operate instruments and perform maintenance function checks and troubleshooting.
• Follow Compliance/Integrity Program Handbook and regulatory requirements.
• Communicate with patients and families using age-related concepts as applicable.
