Job summary

Saint Peters Healthcare System is seeking a Medical Lab Technologist Generalist Nights in New Jersey to join the lab team in the Evening-Night Float Pool. The role involves performing routine and complex analyses, ensuring procedural and systems controls, and delivering accurate, reliable results to support patient diagnosis and treatment.

Requirements include ASCP strongly preferred, a qualifying degree or equivalent lab training per CLIA, and full-time availability for night shifts.

Qualifications

• ASCP strongly preferred.
• Must meet one of the following: Bachelors degree in a chemical, physical, biological or Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Technology from an accredited institution
• Associates degree in a laboratory science (chemical or biological science) or Medical Laboratory Technology from an accredited institution
• Equivalent laboratory training and experience meeting the requirements defined by CLIA

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and complex lab analyses.
• Assume responsibility for procedural and systems controls.
• Provide Physicians with accurate and reliable analytical results necessary for the diagnosis and treatment of patients.

Skills

ASCP certification preferred

Education

Bachelor’s degree in CLIS/TC or MLT or related

Associate degree in laboratory science or Medical Laboratory Technology

Equivalent laboratory training per CLIA
