Job summary

Pride Health is seeking a Medical Lab Technician I for Tulsa, OK. This contract role spans 3-4 months with high conversion potential to full-time. The pay rate ranges from $25 to $26 per hour, with a 2200-0630 shift.

The role requires an Associate degree in a relevant field and 1–2 years of clinical lab experience. ASCP/AMT certification is preferred or required where listed. Work environment may include overtime depending on business needs.

Qualifications

• Requires an associated degree in Biology, Chemistry, Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Technology; CLIA/State requirements may apply.
• Minimum 1–2 years of clinical laboratory testing experience required.
• ASCP or AMT certification preferred or required where listed.
• Must be able to work independently and in a team environment; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Determine specimen acceptability for testing according to established criteria.
• Perform routine and complex laboratory procedures per SOPs.
• Monitor and troubleshoot instrumentation to ensure proper function.
• Prepare, test, and evaluate reagents or controls; report results accurately.
• Perform preventive maintenance and quality control procedures; maintain testing bench supplies.
