Job summary

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a science field and MT registration (ASCP or equivalent). You will ensure specimen integrity, perform quality checks, troubleshoot instrument issues, and document results promptly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in science required.
• Medical Technologist registered (ASCP or applicable) required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare specimens according to lab orders.
• Perform tests using manual methods or automated instrumentation.
• Ensure specimen integrity throughout the process.
• Perform quality control checks and maintenance on equipment.
• Input quality control and patient results into the EMR in a timely manner.
• Expedite results to clinicians for stat and critical results.
• Calibrate on new/expired reagents and troubleshoot test anomalies.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and ensure regulatory compliance.
