Qualifikationen

• Experience as a laboratory technician in a similar environment is preferred.

Aufgaben

• Receive and review requests and specimens for appropriateness and acceptability per policy.
• Perform tests with established procedures and verified competency.
• Analyze results, interpret abnormalities, and notify supervisor as needed.
• Report critical and STAT values immediately to patient care staff.
• Maintain equipment and supplies and assist in budget adherence.
• Train and educate new staff on procedures under supervision.
