Novant Health in Kentucky is seeking a dedicated laboratory team member to perform waived through highly complex testing on blood and body fluids, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance. You will help in instrument maintenance, quality control, and troubleshooting, while supporting a patient-centered care approach.

Education required includes a Bachelor's in Medical Technology or related field, with ASCP/AMT certification and relevant experience preferred.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in medical technology or related science.
• ASCP or AMT certification required; MDT/BOC compliance may apply.
• 1 year experience as laboratory scientist in specialties (BB, Flow, Micro) preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and lab instrumentation helpful.

Mansioni

• Perform waived to highly complex lab testing on blood and body fluids with accuracy and compliance.
• Operate, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation.
• Monitor QC, investigate discrepancies, and implement corrective actions.
• Process orders, document results, and prepare timely reports.
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams to support patient care.
